Tyler.V is ready to take the Pop/R&B world by storm with her debut single, ‘Young & Free’. As free-spirited as her lyrics are, Tyler’s belting vocals and passionate delivery show she’s a meticulous artist determined to master her craft.

Music is something that’s been a part of Tyler’s life for some time now. She won her first talent competition at age 10, then went on to receive vocal lessons from renowned composer, lyricist, playwright and vocal coach Pat Holley. She furthered her musical studies at the Frank Sinatra School of the Arts in NYC, studying a wide array of music including classical and opera. She’s put her skills to work on her debut EP, Unlocked, set for a release this fall.

Influenced by the legendary vocals of Toni Braxton, Brandy and Jazmine Sullivan, Tyler.V originates from a Caribbean background, showcasing effortless vocals and thought-provoking lyrics. As her introduction into the R&B world “Young & Free” accurately reflects Tyler’s free spirit, yet passionate grasp on her musical career. After winning her first talent competition at the age of 10, the experience accelerated Tyler.V’s passion and sparked a focused desire to perfect her craft. She then received vocal lessons from renowned composer, lyricist, playwright and vocal coach Pat Holley – whose list of former students include the likes of rap artist Doug E. Fresh; three-time Tony winner Hinton Battle; supermodel and television personality Iman; and Broadway star Stephanie Mills. From there, Tyler. V went on to attend the Frank Sinatra School of the Arts where she continued her musical studies- diversifying her background and interests by immersing herself in various musical genres including classical and opera. The same dynamic range shines through on her forthcoming EP. Unlocked is a true testament to Tyler.V’s talents and showcases the unique perspective of her artistry.
